Here you get the opportunity to solve mysteries and puzzles together in a thrilling hunt for the truth, where we take the best of team building, Escape Rooms and mystery hunting and combine it with an idyllic boat trip.

Mystery Tours with Odense Aafart is a wonderful cocktail of teamwork, competition and a trip into Odense's fantastic and dramatic history. It's intelligent entertainment and customised team building for both small and large companies, where you have to use your brains and show your ability to work together.

The Secret Brotherhood

Together with your friends or colleagues, you will be sent off on the Aafarten from Munke Mose, where it's easy to be transported back to the days when the boats were only for the city's richest and finest, who were transported from Munke Mose to the many pubs in Fruens Bøge to drink, party, eat and dance.

However, in all this joy, no one ever realised that for centuries the city had been influenced and held down by secret, dark forces and a brotherhood of men who had their own agenda and valuable interests in pursuit of the legacy of Oluf Bager.

Now it's up to you to help solve it.

How it works

At the start of the tour at Aafarten in Munke Mose, each team is handed a tablet and as the boat sails towards Fruens Bøge, the story of Oluf Bager and the secret brotherhood is told and the first clues are presented.

Then, upon arrival at Fruens Bøge, the race against time to solve the mystery of the secret brotherhood begins. Here you will have the opportunity to experience a time when Fruens Bøge was the centre of upper-class parties and - perhaps - secret alliances. You'll have to think fast, lie, act, piece together the puzzle of clues and overcome numerous obstacles.

After a few fun hours, the boat returns and the winning team is announced. And then the evening and the city are still open for continued fun.

Mystery Tour is the perfect choice for a fun afternoon with friends or as a corporate event where teamwork and patience are put to the test.

FAQ – Mystery Tour

Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions. If you still have a question, you are always welcome to contact us.

How many participants can there be for the Mystery Tour?

We can take anywhere from 2 to 140 participants. We charge for a minimum of 10 people.
If you have more than 70 people, we use two tour boats.

Will we get our own tour boat?

Yes, when booking the Mystery Tour, you get your own tour boat for both the trip out and the trip home.

How is catering organised?

We usually provide catering. We put drinks on the boat and take them out to Fruens Bøge. Payment is subsequently settled according to consumption. We can also organise sandwiches and tapas, for example. We collaborate with the delicatessen Klingenberg. See our entire menu HERE.
You are also welcome to bring your own catering.

How long does the journey take

The journey takes a total of 3 hours. The trip out takes 30 minutes. You then have 2 hours to solve the mystery in Fruens Bøge and return to Munke Mose again.

What is a Game Master

Our Game Master is your host for the day. He/she will guide you through the entire experience and help if any problems arise along the way. Your Game Master will also have an active role along the way as part of the experience.

What should we bring?

Make sure you're dressed for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. You will be outside. The route you'll be walking is approximately 3 kilometres and you'll be on trails the whole way, so you won't get dirty along the way.

Can the tour be combined with a trip to a restaurant in Fruens Bøge

Yes, it is possible to end the Mystery Tour in Fruens Bøge and then go to e.g. CarlsLund, Restaurant Skovbakken or Bondestuen and eat. If you wish to be transported back to Munke Mose after the restaurant visit, this is included in the price. However, please note that we do not sail after dark.
