We are looking for the best team to help create unforgettable experiences by providing our guests with the absolute best service in our café/kiosk, ticket sales and on board our boats.

We need you there:

• have relevant experience in the service industry
• Provides excellent service and knows that service is also the things that happen in between expeditions
• likes to have a variety of tasks and enjoys the fact that no two days are the same
• can keep an overview, even when things are moving fast
• Take responsibility and ownership
• is a good colleague
• are flexible and can work over the summer

Who are we?

Odense Aafart has been sailing on the river since 1882 and is thus a historic company with proud traditions. What started out as transport for the rich has now turned into experiences and unforgettable memories for everyone. We still sail round trips where tranquillity and nature take centre stage, but we also offer events such as wine tastings, cocktail cruises, music on the river - and you can rent your own boat for a special occasion or a company outing. In addition to the beautiful tour boats, Odense Aafart also offers Water bikes for hire by the hour.

Common to all Odense Aafart's activities is that hospitality is paramount.

We offer the following positions:

Key employees: over 20 years old - 20-37 hours per week

Part-time employees: over 18 years old - 12-20 hours per week

Young workers: 15-17 years old - max 12 hours per week during school hours and preferably more hours during summer holidays

The number of hours is indicative and depends on the combination of wants and needs. So don't hesitate to let us know which months you'd like to work and for how many hours, and we'll have a good starting point.

The tasks will include the following:

• Serving guests at the box office, Water bike hire and selling ice cream, food and drinks
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene
• Receive guests who hire their own tour boat and provide catering on board
• Filling and counting goods

In addition, key employees will be responsible for additional tasks such as ordering goods.

The practicalities:

Seasonal position: March-October. There are fewer opening days at the beginning and end of the season, which is why we need part-time staff.

You must speak Danish and be able to dispatch in English.

Max 2 consecutive weeks of holiday between June and August due to high season.

Working hours:

We are open from 9am to 9pm, varying throughout the season.

There will be work every other weekend and you must be able to work at least 2 shifts per week.
