Wine tasting: Burgundy

On this tour you will have a unique opportunity to taste your way through the world-renowned Burgundy wine region. Burgundy wines are among the most recognised in the world and are primarily made from two grape varieties - the supple Chardonnay and the delicate Pinot Noir.

Burgundy can be broadly divided into 5 main areas from north to south, but the areas are as different as the sun, moon and stars.

On this tour, we'll learn more about what makes Burgundy so unique. We will learn about grapes, production methods, terroir and climate.

Of course, we'll be tasting white Burgundy, one of the most famous and sought-after white wines in the world, both cask and non-cask. We'll taste the King grape in red Burgundy, Pinot Noir, and then we'll take a trip to Beaujolais in southern Burgundy, which makes wines from the Gamay grape.

Look forward to a cosy and relaxed evening and not least a fantastic tasting experience while enjoying the view of the picturesque nature. There is hardly any better way to experience Odense river.
