Autumn holidays with Odense Aafart

The season is coming to an end, and the autumn holidays are the last time this year you can enjoy Aafarten's various activities before it closes down for the winter. To mark the end of the season and to say thank you for a great season, Aafarten has decided to offer half-price boat trips, Water bikes, ice cream and the popular children's experience ‘Theodor's Secret Golden Treasure’.

If you haven't already travelled with Aafarten this year, it's a great opportunity to try sailing in Aafarten's new silent electric boats.

‘Theodor's Secret Golden Treasure’ is Aafarten's popular family experience where families with children can go on a treasure hunt together. The treasure hunt starts when you board Aafarten's boats. Here you will be sailed out to Fruens Bøge, where together you will find secret clues that will hopefully lead to the secret gold treasure. The mystery lasts 2 hours. This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a fun and budget-friendly day together in beautiful surroundings along the Odense River.

During the autumn holidays there is also half price on Round Trip as well as the Water bikes. It's a great opportunity to take the family on a fantastic boat trip down the Odense River - either by Water bike or tour boat. Hop aboard the tour boat and experience a scenic trip that takes you along the gardens of Odense's beautiful old neighbourhoods, past Odense Zoo and out to the beech forest in Fruens Bøge. 

If you want to go on your own, a Water bike is an obvious choice. Here you can cruise around and enjoy the tranquillity of the river and the beautiful nature while having a few cosy and relaxing hours in the company of family or friends. 

If you get hungry on your sailing trip, you can help empty out the Aafarten kiosk before it closes down for the season. It sounds almost too good to be true. But it's good enough. In the kiosk, all ice creams will be half price and the refreshments will of course be homemade as always.

Opening hours:

Ticket sales, kiosk and Water bikes: 11 am to 4 pm (all days).

Departures from Munke Mose for round trips: 12.00, 13.00, 14.00 (all days).

‘Theodor's Secret Golden Treasure’: 15.00 (takes two hours).

Tickets for Aafarten's tour boats and Theodor's Secret Gold Treasure can both be purchased online at www.aafart.dk and in the Aafarten ticket office. Water bikes are available for hire at Odense Aafart.
