Welcome to Odense Aafart

A trip on Odense River is full of memorable moments. Just get on board one of the excursion boats at Odense Aafart in Munke Mose and watch the lovely scenery glide past.

You can always stop off and pay a visit to Odense Zoo, where there are a host of new attractions, or continue up river to the final terminus at Fruens Bøge. And from here there is a delightful walk to the open-air museum of Den Fynske Landsby.

This museum (The Funen Village) enables you to gain a vivid impression of the characteristic buildings and environments of Funen peasant culture in the mid-19th century.

Plays based on the fairytales by Hans Christian Andersen are performed at the open-air amphitheatre in the Funen Village, in July and August.
